We are a Swiss Army knife for your files
Transloadit is a service for companies with developers. We handle their file uploads and media processing. This means that they can save on development time and the heavy machinery that is required to handle big volumes in an automated way.
We pioneered with this concept in 2009 and have made our customers happy ever since. We are still actively improving our service in 2021, as well as our open source projects uppy.io and tus.io, which are changing how the world does file uploading.
Convert an image from JP2 to BMP
Transloadit's API makes light work of changing the format of images from JP2 to BMP.
Wether we need to convert directly as your users upload, or processing entire media libraries in the background,
you can use our /image/resize Robot and set
its format
parameter to the appropriate value. In this case "bmp"
to convert to Microsoft Windows bitmap image images.
We'll accept any image as input, no need to define that, but in this
demo, we'll be uploading JPEG-2000 File Format Syntax images (JP2).
Transloadit supports over 40,000 image conversion format pairs. Combined with 55 other Robots, this easily makes us the most versatile conversion API on the planet.
1. Handle uploads
We can handle uploads of your users directly. Learn more ›
2. Convert images to Bmp
We can resize, crop, and (auto-)rotate images, or apply watermarks and other effects, and much more. Learn more ›
3. Export files to Amazon S3
We export to the storage platform of your choice. Learn more ›
Once all files have been exported, we can ping a URL of your choice with the Assembly status JSON.
