We are happy to let you know that we have open sourced the[Transloadit jQuery SDK](https://github.com/transloadit/jquery-sdk) on GitHub.

While doing so, we have also added a pretty cool new feature: events for uploads and results. This means you can now give the jQuery SDK an `onUpload` or `onResult` callback, and it will let you know about your file uploads in real-time! A demo of this new functionality will be online soon!

Furthermore, we are now also compiling the plugin using the Google closure compiler and we thought you might get a kick out of our[Makefile](https://github.com/transloadit/jquery-sdk/blob/master/Makefile). 😄

To use the new plugin version, make sure to include it from[assets.transloadit.com](https://assets.transloadit.com/js/jquery.transloadit2-v3-latest.js).

We hope you'll enjoy this new feature!
