We are thrilled to announce the release and immediate availability of the second robot this week - one that a lot of customers have requested over the past months and years - the /document/thumbs Robot!

Simply put, this new robot allows you to convert documents into images. More specifically, you can either turn a specific page of your document into an image, or turn all pages into several images. If you specify the output format to be gif, an animated GIF file cycling through all of the document's pages is created. You can find the full documentation here, and we have also put up some demos for you to get a feel for the new robot.

Please keep in mind that the /document/thumbs Robot currently supports extracting images from PDF files only. New document formats will be added as we go.
