# Introducing new /ftp/import Robot for file imports

Today we'd like to announce a latest addition to our robot family: the[/ftp/import](/docs/robots/ftp-import.md) Robot!

This robot allows you to import files over an FTP connection that is protected with a password. The[/sftp/import](/docs/robots/sftp-import.md) Robot, while being a lot more secure, is sometimes difficult to set up in some environments (like on Windows servers for example), which makes the [/ftp/import](/docs/robots/ftp-import.md) Robot a good alternative for these environments.

There is no installation of custom users or SSH keys required on the server. You can just use the robot out of the box.
