# Optimize a PDF for screen viewing

[🤖/document/optimize](/docs/robots/document-optimize.md) can aggressively reduce PDF file sizes for screen viewing. This demo uses the `screen` preset (72 DPI) with `linearize` enabled for fast web viewing and `remove_metadata` to strip unnecessary metadata.

The `screen` preset typically achieves around 86% file size reduction, making it ideal for documents that will only be viewed on screens and do not need print quality.
