# Extract a 10 second clip from a video

To extract a 10 second clips from a video, you can use[custom FFmpeg parameters](/docs/robots/video-encode.md#ffmpeg-parameters-video-encode) to take a clip of any duration. In this demo we take a 10 second clip, 25 seconds into the video.
