What is a Video Embed?

How Video Embeds work

An embed is an integration boundary as well as a visual player. A native media element lets the host page select sources and subscribe directly to events, while an iframe delegates document, script, and storage behavior to another origin. Player components may wrap either approach and expose a narrower application API.
