We'd like to give you an inside look at a fun event we took part in between the 29th of February and 1st of March: Hack the Burgh, a hackathon in the Major League Hacking circuit. It took place in my hometown of Edinburgh and Transloadit was there as a sponsor.

We'd like to share a change to our API that we'll be making on April 30, 2020. On that day, we will change all the names that our customers have given to their Templates to a format that is URL-safe. If, for instance, your Template was previously called Video encode for Apple Devices, the new name will be video-encode-for-apple-devices.

We're happy to share that we are launching a new line of AI bots in Tech Preview. We've had one AI Robot in production for some time: /image/facedetect. It's powered by internal software and we've been pleased with its performance. Today's announced bots, however, are powered by external cloud services.

Our Zapier integration is getting a lot of interest recently. Just last week, three different customers/prospects inquired about how to automate some of their business processes using Transloadit and Zapier. When we started Transloadit ten years ago and began documenting our project, the docs covered uploading to S3, our jQuery SDK, resizing images, and encoding videos. Looking back, this was just a splash in the pond in comparison to what was to come.

Recently, a post by Julian covered the new /digitalocean/store Robot, showcasing a new file exporting provider compatible with Transloadit. As somewhat of a follow-up to that blog (and partly because I felt that Azure could do with some love and attention) we'll dive into the subject of Microsoft Azure containers and how to get them set up!

Today, we are introducing the new /digitalocean/store Robot, which allows you to export your Assembly results to DigitalOcean's Spaces Object Storage. This adds another option to the list of file exporting providers we already support, like Amazon S3, Rackspace Cloud Files and Dropbox. Check out the full list in our docs.

We are excited to announce that we have released version 2.0.0 of our Zapier integration! The spectacular thing about this new update is that you can now create Assemblies with multiple (as many as you need) files.
