What's the maximum filesize?

Our own components such as tus.io have been tested to support 100GB files, but there are some other limitations to consider.

While our aim is to support virtually unlimited file sizes, it is currently not economical for us to equip all encoding machines with the disks that would require. Using shared network volumes come with other trade-offs (reliability, performance), but we are doing more research into this direction.

This is why we currently pose a hard limit of 120GB on files, and recommend to get in touch if you require more.
